Begining the Ayurvedic Vegetarian Journey

Price is $65 for the class, includes instruction, recipes and the meal.

4pm-6pm

Indian cuisine is based on the foundation of Ayurveda - the ancient science that balances the mind, body and spirit. This class provides a foundation to balancing tastes, observing and using the basic spices of fennel, cumin, ginger, saffron and other essential ingredients. A basic vegetarian meal is prepared while understanding the foundation of these spices.

Ghee - Learn how to clarify butter

Phulka - Wholewheat puffed flatbreads drizzled with ghee

Gajar Methi - Carrots cooked with fresh fenugreek leaves

Karhi -Chickpea flour and yogurt curry seasoned with cilantro, mustard and curry leaves

Cilantro Chutney with Apples
